Sustainers Champions

The Sustainers Champions program, developed with the mentorship of Sustainers and the support of the One Million Leaders Asia Fellowship (OMLAS), successfully conducted a 1.5-month online training initiative focused on sustainability and leadership for 25 young Afghans (ages 18-30) from every province of Afghanistan.

The curriculum covered five key pillars:

  • Sustainability Essentials
  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • Ethical and Transformational Leadership
  • Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship
  • Personal Well-being and Resilience

The program was delivered through virtual sessions, equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to tackle sustainability challenges in their communities. This program aimed to foster a new generation of environmentally and socially conscious leaders in Afghanistan.

At the end of the program, those champions who successfully completed the program and assessments received awards from OMLAS and had the opportunity to collaborate with Sustainers on upcoming projects and programs.
